Skip boxes, rent bins.
We drop sturdy, lidded bins at your door. You pack and snap the lids shut. We come back for the empties. No tape, no busted boxes, no cardboard mountain to deal with after.
Boxes are a chore. Bins aren't.
No tape
Lids snap shut in a second. No tape gun, no hunting for the end of the roll.
No busted boxes
Hard plastic doesn't crush, sag or split open on the stairs. Rain doesn't bother it either.
No cleanup
Unpacked? Stack the empties by the door and we haul them off. Nothing to break down, nothing to recycle.
Two moving bin sizes
Both snap shut. No tape.27 gal
The everything binClothes, bedding, kitchen, toys. The big, light stuff.
12 gal
The heavy-stuff binBooks, files, tools, pantry. Small enough to lift when it's full.

Moving bins vs. moving boxes“Buy a bunch of bins myself?”
You could. But then what?
A two-bedroom move takes about 40 bins. Even on sale, that's $300+ before tax, and our 2-bedroom package is $249. After the move, those 40 bins still need a home. Most people need four or five, not forty.
“Buy moving boxes?”
You could. But you're buying a project.
Boxes, tape and markers add up. Then you fold, tape, pack and stack them, and hope the bottoms hold. After the move you break down a mountain of cardboard and haul it to recycling. Bins snap shut and we take them away.
“Grab free boxes from the store?”
You could. But free costs time.
That means multiple trips, mixed sizes that don't stack, and boxes that have already been crushed once. Ours are the same two sizes every time. They stack straight, lock shut and show up at your door.
“Is it worth it for a small move?”
Yes. Small moves are the easiest win.
The Studio package is 20 bins for $149, dropped off and picked up free. That's less than a lot of people spend on boxes, tape and a second trip to the store.

Hi, I'm your neighbor.
I started Black Box Bin Rental after one too many moves fighting tape guns and soggy boxes. I drop off every order, pick up every order and clean every bin myself. When you text or call, you reach me, not a call center.
Our bin-swap promise
If a bin shows up cracked or a lid won't snap shut, text us and we'll swap it for free. Every bin is numbered, tracked and sanitized before it comes to your door.

Questions
Are you a national chain?
No. Black Box Bin Rental is a locally owned small business. We only serve the Eastside, the North End and Seattle.
How do I know which package to pick?
Use the home size buttons at the top of the page. Each package mixes 27 gal bins for everyday items with 12 gal bins for dense things like books. If you have a big book collection, a home office or a garage full of gear, go up one size or add extra bins.
Do I need tape or packing supplies?
No tape. The lids snap on. For fragile things, wrap them in towels or blankets you already own.
What do I do with the bins when I'm done?
Stack them by the door on pickup day. We take them away and clean them. Nothing to flatten, store or recycle.
Where do you deliver?
Anywhere inside the circle on our map. That includes Woodinville, Bothell, Kirkland, Redmond, Bellevue, Seattle, Lynnwood, Everett and more. Enter your address at checkout and we will confirm.
What if I need the bins longer than two weeks?
Extend any time for $1 per bin per extra week. Tell us before your pickup date and we will move it.
How heavy can I pack a bin?
Keep each bin under 40 lb. Use the 12 gal bins for books and other dense items so they stay easy to carry.
What if a bin is lost or damaged?
Normal wear is fine. A lost or broken bin is billed at $40 for a 27 gal and $25 for a 12 gal.
Do you provide a dolly?
Yes. Every order comes with one rolling bin dolly. Stack bins on it and roll them to the truck. Need another? Ask when you book and we will add one if we have it.
How do I pay?
Send a date request first. Once we confirm your dates, we text you a secure Stripe payment link. Your bins are held once payment clears, and you get a receipt by email.
